To add notes to items, you must have the Item Edit permission. Notes do not appear in the Bound Book.

Find the Item you want to add a Note to

On the Item Details page click on the Edit Button

Scroll or move down to the Notes panel

Click the Create button

Choose the Note Type
Acquisition: Created during an Acquisition, an Acquisition note would be attached to all Items on an Acquisition.
Item: An Item note is a note that would go on a specific Item.
Disposition: A Disposition note would be attached to all Items on a Disposition.

Enter your Note

Click Save
