During a Cycle Count, you may come across Items that are not in the Location listed, or they have other problems such as misspellings, incorrect Serial numbers, or additional details. These Items should be moved to the Exception Location so they can be corrected ASAP.

Select the Items that have an Exception condition.

Click the ‘Not In This Location’ button
To move the items to the Exception Location. No Last Verified date will be added to the Item. An audit trail will be created including the date, time, and the user that moved the item to the Exception Location.
When you are done Cycle Counting a Location there should not be any items left on the list.
Every time you view the selected Location the list will show all Items in the Location along with a Last Verified date if one exists.
