How To Correct System Date & Time Settings In Windows

In FastBound, when a user enters a date or time in the future on an acquisition or disposition, you will be shown one of these messages:

If you are selecting today’s current date, and still receiving this error, your Windows date/time settings could not be in sync with the current time in your timezone.

To fix this, navigate to the Windows search bar in Windows 10/11.

Enter: “Date & Time Settings” in the search bar, and click on the link within Windows.

Select “Set time automatically” and enable the slider.

Additionally, you will want to check your time zone has been set to the time zone of your current location.

Next, you will want to click “Sync Now” under “Synchronize your clock.” This will manually force Windows to sync your clock to the Microsoft servers for your current timezone.

Once these steps are completed, your Windows device will be synced to your correct time zone.
