Install QNAP Container Station

Open the QNAP App Center app.

Click QTS Essentials.

Find and install the Container Station app.

Create Folder(s)

Open the QNAP File Station app and create a new parent folder for FastBound.

Create two folders in the FastBound parent folder, one for Data and one for Config. You can name these folders as you like or use existing folders. You can even use the same folder for data and configuration if you’d like.


Create Container

Open the Container Station app and Create a new container.

Choose Docker Hub from the Registry list.

Enter the Image:
fastbound/ffl-bound-book-backup -
Check “Try pulling the image from the registry before creating the container.”

Click Next.

Container Advanced Settings

You can name the container anything you want or use the default.

Set the Restart Policy to None (you can change this to Unless Stopped later).

Click Next.

Remove the default volumes by clicking the trash can next to each volume.

Click Add Volume and then Bind Mount Host Path.

Choose the Data folder (i.e.,/Public/FastBound/Data) you created earlier.

Click Add Volume and then Bind Mount Host Path again.

Choose the Config folder (i.e.,/Public/FastBound/Config) you created earlier.

Ensure the Data folder’s Container path is
/data(case sensitive) and the Config folder’s Container path is/config(case sensitive). -
Click Apply.

Click Next.

Click Finish.

Configuring FastBound Accounts

The first time the container is started, it will create a file named accounts.json in the config directory with sample account information.

Note: The sample accounts must be replaced or removed, or the container will not start.

Edit the accounts.json file to match your FastBound account(s).

Save the file.

Start the container.

You will see a log output similar to the following:
