The Colorado Department of Revenue provides the DR-7602 form for use by Firearms Dealers to log firearms transactions.
The DR-7603 form to provide firearm(s) information as an addition to form DR-7602 Firearms Dealer Transaction Log when additional fields are needed to detail the purchase.
These forms must be retained by the Firearms Dealer Business for 3 years per Rule 3-110 (B)(1).

Generate the Forms in FastBound

Complete the disposition. After you save, FastBound opens the Disposition Receipt.

Click Colorado DR 7602 (and DR 7603 if you have more than two pistols or revolvers).

Review the pre-filled data, enter anything FastBound prompts for, and then Download or print the PDF.
The generated forms include only pistols and revolvers, and the system ignores any other item types.

FastBound captures the following data points, but the DR 7602/7603 PDFs expect them in a slightly different format than A&D or 4473 records. A small software update is underway to map the data automatically. Until that update is released, FastBound will prompt you to enter these.

These three boxes are not captured elsewhere in FastBound and must always be filled in by the dealer.
Compliance Reminders

Double-check that your “Colorado Dealer Permit Number” is saved under Contacts > Account Owner FFL → Licensing before running your first form.

DR 7602 lists the first two pistols or revolvers; any additional firearms will generate on DR 7603.

Keep each completed form for three years in accordance with Colorado Rule 3-110 (B)(1).
