This form is provided by the Department of Revenue for use by Firearms Dealers to log acquisitions and dispositions of firearms.
This form, or other records containing the information requested in this form, must be retained by the Firearms Dealer Business for a period of 3 years per Rule 3-110(B)(1).

Generate the form in FastBound

The generated forms include only pistols and revolvers, and the system ignores any other item types. Each form only allows for one item. You must print a form for every item.

Depending where you are generating the DR 7606 from, the Acquisition Receipt or DIsposition Receipt page, it will print out slightly different. A small software update is underway to map the data so it prints the form the same from both pages. Until that update is released, FastBound will prompt you to enter the required information.
Generating DR 7606 from the Acquistion Receipt page
If the item is disposed, the disposition information will not print on the DR 7606 form from the Acquisition Receipt page. Print the form from the Disposition Receipt page instead.

Double-check that your “Colorado Dealer Permit Number” is saved under Contacts > Account Owner FFL → Licensing before running your first form.

DR 7606 lists one pistol or revolver per form. There is a Download All button at the bottom of the screen so you do not have to download them each individually.

Keep each completed form for three years in accordance with Colorado Rule 3-110 (B)(1).
