Disable autofill in Firefox on a computer?

*Note: This help article was written for Firefox version 94.0.2. Older and future versions of Firefox may be slightly different.

The auto-fill on the buyer side of the 4473 is not a setting in FastBound. This setting is specific to the device or browser. Below you will find instructions on how to disable this for different devices.

Disable Firefox Autofill On A Computer

  • First, you need to open your Firefox browser and open the main menu (three horizontal lines) to find the Settings option.

  • When the drop-down menu appears, click Settings. You can also type about:preferences into Safari’s address bar in place of clicking on the menu item.

  • Click on Privacy & Security and scroll down to Logins and Passwords.

    • Uncheck the Ask to save logins and passwords for websites checkbox.

  • Scroll down to History and in the “Firefox will” dropdown choose Never Remember History.

    • A Restart Firefox pop-up will appear. Click Restart Firefox now.

    • After Firefox restarts go back to your Privacy & Security Settings and confirm the change was saved.

    • You can also Clear your History here if needed. In the Clear All History dialog check everything and click OK.

  • Scroll down to Forms and Autofill and uncheck Autofill addresses and Autofill credit cards.

  • You can also scroll down to the Address Bar – Firefox Suggest section and uncheck all the fields below.

Close the tab and you are done. The changes are automatically saved.
