Q10, Current State of Residence and Address, on the 4473 is designed in a way to help the transferee/buyer enter their current state of residence address. If the transferee/buyer IS NOT using military PCS orders to establish their residency they should NOT answer Yes to the “Are you active duty military using PCS orders to establish residency?” question.
The default answer is set to “No” because most transferee/buyers are not using military PCS orders to establish their residency.
If the transferee/buyer answers “Yes” to the “Are you active duty military using PCS orders to establish residency?” question and the subsequent questions by mistake FastBound will require you, the seller, to answer Q26.c of the 4473.
You have two options.
-
If you want to continue with the 4473.
-
