ATF Form 4473, Firearms Transaction Record, is a document required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) for every firearm sale or transfer. Completion of this form helps ensure compliance with federal law, promoting public safety and preventing illegal firearm distribution throughout the United States.
What is the Spanish 4473?
Spanish 4473, or Registro de Transacción de Armas de Fuego, is used by firearm dealers selling to non-English speaking buyers.
It provides a fully translated version of the standard Form 4473. By offering this form, dealers can ensure that all buyers, regardless of their primary language, can accurately complete the necessary documentation and comply with federal law.
